PlayGrounds Adventure is a play café opening in Holly Springs, GA in early 2026. A play café is a pay-to-play creative center for children, crawlers to age eight, with a full coffee shop. We are looking for a manager to run daily operations, to include positive interactions with children and their caretakers, drink preparations and service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for the customers. Most importantly, this position is an investment in the growth and success of PlayGrounds Adventure.
The PlayGrounds Adventure Manager is the driving force behind day-to-day operations of the play café, creating a warm, pleasant, and exciting environment for children and their caretakers. The Manager will work weekly, Monday through Friday, as well as schedule and manage part-time employees to ensure the play café is appropriately staffed, and events/parties are fully staffed. On rare occasions, the manager may need to cover a weekend event.
Other responsibilities include maintaining and ordering inventory, building and sustaining vendor relationships, developing new and exciting drink and food products, assisting in developing new and exciting activities for children, and most importantly, overseeing customer service needs.
No education is required for this position, but rather a personal drive and ambition to be a part of seeing PlayGrounds Adventure be the premiere go-to play café in Cherokee County. Experience in hospitality and/or food and beverage service, or experience in early child development or education, childcare, or management preferred.
In addition to managing the play café once the doors are open to the public, there are a number of pre-opening responsibilities to support the play café operator. These tasks can be accomplished both remotely and in person, as needed, and will cover four to six weeks prior to opening PlayGrounds Adventure to the public. The focus will be to assist the play café operator in finalizing details to ensure a strong grand opening.

PlayGrounds Adventure is not a daycare facility – caretakers will stay in the play café with their children.
