The Wheel Cell Operator is the key person in the manufacture of blades and blower fans (wheels). The Wheel Cell Operator controls feeders, straightners, conveyors, coil reels, dies, presses and other production tooling.
Work from blueprints, customer specifications, production schedules, written and verbal instructions.
Use micrometers, rulers and other measuring devices in inspection of parts as defined by standard operating procedure and document inspection on provided forms; adjust press slide, counterbalance and other press and auxiliary systems as necessary.
Change assembly dies, die components; adjust straightners, coil reels, and conveyor systems.
Interact with shop floor computer terminals to record time and production activities.
Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment and materials.
Process paperwork, labeling, etc. based on work instructions, work in process, customer specifications, quality audits, and other related requirements.
Complete required reports and records.
Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision.
Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
Successful Candidates should have:
A high school diploma or GED certificate preferred
The ability to stand for long periods of time

The ability to complete daily tasks in a timely manner
