Job Description

The Insurance Client Service Associate will be responsible for managing day-to-day client interactions, processing insurance documents, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for helping clients understand and manage their insurance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries related to insurance policies, claims, coverage options, and billing.
  • Assist with policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and other transactions.
  • Facilitate the processing of new insurance applications and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to resolve client issues, claims, or policy changes.
  • Proactively identify client needs and offer tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update client records in the agency’s database, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Educate clients on available insurance products and services, and assist in identifying appropriate coverage options.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and underwriters to provide timely and efficient service.
  • Support the sales team by preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, insurance regulations, and company policies to provide accurate and current information to clients.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an insurance agency or customer service role, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license, or willingness to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software (experience with [specific software] is a plus).
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
