Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique requirements and provide tailored solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and internal IT staff.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their IT needs and develop customized solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud-based services.
  • Implement and manage advanced endpoint security tools.
  • Ensure robust data protection through Managed Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions, utilizing Datto and Axcient technologies.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations through Compliance as a Service (CaaS).
  • Provide expertise in hybrid cloud environments and virtualization technologies, including VMware and HPE Servers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Document systems configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in a managed services or consulting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, VMware, and HPE server environments.
  • Experience with cybersecurity solutions, including SentinelOne, Threatlocker, and Fortinet.
  • Proficiency in remote management and monitoring (RMM) tools.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards relevant to professional services industries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on client service and collaboration.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, CompTIA Security+, VMware Certified Professional) are a plus.
