Bug Busters is seeking a dependable, hard working Universal technician in the Eatonton, Milledgeville and close areas, who will help us continue to provide exceptional service while growing our brand. To be a successful Universal Technician you must be motivated, energetic, and creative, with outstanding communication skills. Experienced and licensed a plus.

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour based on experience

Schedule: M-F 8 a – 5 pm(must be flexible to work earlier/later as needed)

Purpose: 

Sell and provide pest elimination services specializing in Mosquito Control to homeowners and businesses.

Reports to:  Branch Manager & Service Manager

Job Descriptions: 

We are seeking dependable, hard working service technicians, who will help us continue to provide exceptional service and grow our brand. A successful Pest Management Professional (PMP) specialize in Mosquito Control Treatment, he/she needs to be motivated, energetic, and creative, with outstanding communication skills! Experienced and licensed a plus!

Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conducts systematic daily checks of assigned areas to locate noxious arthropod breeding areas.
• Identifies various mosquito species in both the adult and larval stages.
• Identifies breeding problems and exercise good judgment in selecting appropriate control technique and/or treatment.
• Applies control materials according to procedure in order to maximize the coverage of the area while ensuring compliance with all applicable Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State and County regulations and policies governing the application of pesticides; can include the possible use of a respirator and other safety equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with office staff, co-workers, and customers
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours
• Work outdoors during all seasons

• Adhere to schedule and keep appointments with customers
• Respond to service call backs as assigned
• Sell additional services to existing and prospective customers
• Perform other duties as required by management
