Working with product engineers to create and revise designs
Creating and maintaining detailed component and assembly drawings
Creating and maintaining complex Bills of Materials (BOM)
Collaborating with key manufacturing and quality personnel regarding new and existing designs
Engaging in and facilitating meetings that focus on design reviews
Requirements
AS or Technical degree required, preferably in Engineering or Science
BS degree a plus
Working Conditions:
Production factory support and office environment
Occasional travel to customers, vendors, or other Chart locations is possible
Work Hazards:
Production floor environment will involve possible exposure to materials with rough edges, temperature extremes, moving mechanical parts, occasional flying debris, chemical cleaning solvents and their odors.
Working with cryogenic products will involve possible exposure to pressurized flammable gas, pressurized oxidizing gas, pressurized inert gas and very low temperatures (-320º F).
