Responsibilities:
• Manage and lead steel construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors, to ensure effective project coordination and successful outcomes.
• Read and comprehend structural drawings, interpreting and translating them into actionable plans and deliverables.
• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of direct structural and miscellaneous steels to provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of steel and construction practices, leveraging your expertise to make informed decisions and address project challenges proactively.
• Balance field and office responsibilities, overseeing on-site construction activities, conducting site visits as needed, and managing project documentation.
• Exercise strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, fostering productive relationships and maintaining clear channels of communication.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial General Contractors (GCs) to drive successful project outcomes, leveraging your industry expertise to deliver exceptional results.
Qualifications:
• Required: A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the steel industry.
• Preferred: 5 years or more of project management experience in the steel industry.
• Proficient in reading and comprehending structural drawings, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate them into actionable plans.
• Extensive knowledge of direct structural and miscellaneous steels, including their applications, fabrication, and installation processes.
• Strong steel and/or construction knowledge and background, with a deep understanding of industry practices, regulations, and quality standards.
