The Environmental Services Technician will be responsible for providing various cleaning functions to ensure a safe, clean, organized and sanitary environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs various cleaning functions which include use of microfiber cleaning cloths and disinfectant according to manufacturer guidelines and training provided by NSH.
2. Waste removal including handling of medical waste following training guidelines provided.
3. Follows written schedules and completes daily assignment checklists.
4. Utilization of bed management system to communicate bed status with nursing and completion of discharge cleans within required time limits provided by management.
5. Utilization of standard precautions and isolation measures when deemed necessary.
6. Responsible for restocking of paper products and hand hygiene supplies.
7.Accountability and responsibility for equipment cleanliness.
