NSPG Development is a full-service, commercial general contractor based out of Woodstock, GA that operates nationally on a variety of projects. We provide construction services, from design consultation, to build-out and retrofits, as well as new construction, providing facility operators maximum site efficiencies. We couple key design and execution needs, bridging the two for seamless, headache free projects. NPSG Development works with our clients to build spaces to fit within their budgetary constraints, and can manage the construction process, from design and permitting, to project execution and closeout.

Position Summary:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our commercial construction projects. This position demands a high level of expertise in managing large-scale, complex construction projects from inception through to completion. You will be an integral part of a dedicated team, fostering collaboration among professionals to meet project deliverables. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, exceeding client expectations. Special focus will be on light industrial, tilt-wall construction, cold storage, self-storage, data centers (mission-critical), tenant improvement, and program upgrades to buildings, systems, and sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight on multiple commercial construction projects.

Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, understanding their needs, and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals. Promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and collaborative teamwork.

Financial Oversight: Develop detailed project budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to ensure profitability and  cost efficiency.

Conduct risk assessments and manage contingencies effectively.

Quality and Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of quality and ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental codes and standards. Promote a safe work environment for all employees and subcontractors.

Project Management Responsibilities:

–Manage all project administration, leadership, and technical direction of ground up and interim build-out projects
–Organize and oversee construction procedures to ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
–Develop and lead multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver projects of exceptional quality, solid financial performance, and outstanding client
satisfaction.
–Handle all project buyouts within designated time frame.
–Review project submittals for conformance to contract documents.
–Manage of all RFI’s and submittal requests.
–Manage and maintain a site logistics plan.
–Work directly with architects, engineers, and owner representatives to ensure project success.
–Review daily reports, progress photos, and safety inspections from onsite Superintendents.
–Help manage bid requests, review bids, and develop subcontracts.
–Organize, attend, participate, and lead project meetings, including subcontractor meetings.
–Use software for data analysis, forecasting, and project management.
–Create and maintain purchase orders and change orders.
–Be able to read and understand blueprints, CAD files, as well as Municipality code.
–50% travel

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

Professional Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction industry, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects in tilt-wall construction, cold storage, self-storage, data centers, and TI work.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, LEED) are advantageous.

Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project. Deep understanding of construction methodologies, engineering, scheduling, design principles, and blueprints. Be able to manage multiple projects in a demanding environment.

Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving project goals and objectives.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Attention to Detail: Possess solid skills with time management, project organization, problem-solving, and quality control.

Professionalism: Demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion, and professional courtesy; ability to work independently.
